Moro LG Secretary Hails Govt on Power Restoration

Jebba youth and women groups, under the umbrella of SYD Youth Forum, Agbeke Progressive Movement, and AbdulRaheem Medinat Moturanyo Forum, have reaffirmed their support and loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak at a joint meeting held today at Jebba Descendants Union Hall in Jebba.

The meeting, attended by Moro Local Government Council Secretary, Hon. Nura Muhammad, aimed to sensitize members of the groups on the ongoing voters’ registration and reaffirm support for the APC party led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak.

Hon. Nura Muhammad highlighted the governor’s achievements in Jebba, including the Coca-Cola Oba’s Palace road, Jebba water works, and constructions of schools. He also commended the Moro Local Government Chairperson, Hajiya Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo, for her efforts in resolving the power supply crisis between the Jebba community and management of IEBDC, recent approval of ten electrical poles for Jebba community and total overhauling of the NSCDC Jebba command office which shall commence soon.

Senior Legislative aide to Hon. Member representing Lanwa/Eji, Hon. Yahya Abdullahi Maikombo who also moderated the meeting outlined Hon. Medinat AbdulRaheem’s contributions to Jebba community, including water intervention projects, youth and women empowerment initiatives.

Jebba Ward Councillor, Hon. Ismail Aweda Gbadamosi, thanked the groups for their support for the government at the local, state and federal level and urged continued loyalty to the party.

The groups unanimously supported the 2027 governorship power shift agitation to Kwara North and advocated for Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu as Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak’s successor, citing his leadership capacity, loyalty and support for the party.

The Groups coordinators, Ayuba Amupitan and AbdulAzeez Babatunde, appreciated the council secretary, Hon. Nura Muhammad and SA humanitarian affairs to the governor Prince Abdulateef Adebara for their support in making the meeting a reality and promised continued grassroots mobilization for the party ahead of the 2027 election.
