The DWAC Foundation has officiall began its initiative aimed at making a positive impact in the education sector through the distribution of essential educational materials to schools and students in Ilorin. This initiative, part of a broader “Welcome Back to School” campaign, is being implemented across the state to support pupils in public schools as they return to their studies.

A dedicated team from the foundation visited three public primary schools located within the Ilorin Metropolis. During the visit, Mrs. Bukola Alade Umar, the team leader, expressed the foundation’s commitment to enriching the educational experience of young learners. She highlighted that the initiative involved the distribution of various essential items, including writing materials, socks, school bags, and other necessary supplies tailored for students in primary grades 1 through 6 where over 200 pupils benefited.

Mrs. Bukola further assured that this outreach initiative would extend to other zones within the designated timeframe set by the foundation, demonstrating a comprehensive commitment to supporting education across the region. She took a moment to commend the visionary efforts of the foundation’s founder, Princess Damilola Wale Aremu, whose unwavering dedication aims to ensure that no child is left behind in their educational journey.

The heads of the schools that were visited expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the DWAC Foundation for its generous efforts in supporting underprivileged students. They conveyed their appreciation to the founder on behalf of the pupils, acknowledging the profound impact her vision has made in the community.
