
We have dedicated our time and energy to end insecurity, banditry in Kwara North – RT. Hon. Saliu Yakub Danlad
It was a full venue as the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency held a stakeholders meeting, the meeting was purposefully converged to address social and political issues bothering the Federal Constituency and the Kwara North Senatorial District.
One of the important personalities who graced the event, RT. Hon. Saliu Yakub Danladi, Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly appreciated the efforts of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in returning peace and sanity to Kwara North after numerous attacks ” Today, we are not here for politics, we are here to discuss and find a lasting solution to certain issues affecting our people, I want to state clearly that His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has dedicated so much time and energy in solving the banditry and kidnapping in Kwara North, it’s beyond the media, we have done a lot to secure our land, we want to assure the good people of this Constituency and Kwara North at large that we won’t relent in our efforts to secure our lands, I want to urge all of us to be security conscious, the hard time will soon be over” Danladi concludes.
In his short remarks, the member representing Edu/Moro/Patigi in the National Assembly, Hon. Adamu Saaba, reiterated his commitment to bringing a lasting solution to the region’s problems. He urged everyone to be a part of history in making sure that the federal constituency continues to flow in unity.
Also speaking at the event, Alhaji Saka Olooru appreciates Kwara governor for his dedication to service and urban renewal projects, he however appealed to the gov to consider a successor from Kwara North in 2027 “We are united now than ever in Kwara North, we are continuously pleading to our dear Governor to give us the governorship ticket in Kwara North, we won’t disappoint the people of Kwara State, we have capable and reliable hands in Kwara North who can take Kwara further from the ongoing development of Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq”
In his goodwill message, Engr. Mahmud Muhammad, Director of community development HYPPADEC appreciated Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq’s efforts in urban renewal and dividends of democracy in Kwara, he admonished people of the Federal Constituency to continue to push for power shift to Kwara North, others speaker at the events includes; Hon. Nura Muhammad, Secretary Moro LG who spokes on behalf of the sectaries in within the federal constituency, Hon. Commisional for Social Investment among others
