An Ilorin-based Islamic Scholar, Dr. Sanusi Lafiagi made a U-turn from his Initial post via his official Facebook page where he earlier advised single men to wait a little before getting married, a statement many have linked to the current economic crisis rocking Nigeria.

In a surprising turn of events, Sanusi posted an update clarifying that his previous statement was intended as sarcasm. He went on to advise married and prospective husbands to focus on building strong, healthy relationships and to make meaningful connections, emphasizing the importance of responsible and respectful partnerships. He said “4 is the goal”
