
The Ekiti Operations Office of the National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA) in collaboration with Ondo SEMA has conducted a general overview of Wednesday’s fire incident at Oba-ile, Akure North, Ondo State.
The disaster emergency body made this declaration on its official X handle on Thursday.
GuardianNigeria gathered that the essence of Wednesday’s assessment tour is to ascertain the level of damages around the area and immediately seek ways to assist those affected by the fire incident.

Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on Emergency Response, Jide Lawal-Aromasodu was also on the ground to assess the level of the disaster.
It would be recalled that the fire which occurred at about 1:00 am resulted from a PHCN power line cable that fell on the building, thereby completely razing down the whole furniture company known as A.K Furniture and the Adjoining shops.
