The Foundation for Community Development (MOK Foundation) has provided tractors to support the Sweet Potato (Anomo) Farming Resuscitation and Revitalization initiative in Offa. This gesture aims to revitalize the local farming industry, boost food security, and enhance economic development in the region.
The tractors will enable local farmers to:
- Increase their cultivation capacity
- Improve crop yields
- Enhance productivity
- Reduce manual labor
- Expand their market reach
The Sweet Potato Farming Resuscitation initiative seeks to:
- Revive the traditional farming practices of the community
- Promote sustainable agriculture
- Support local economic growth
- Enhance food security
“We are thrilled to support the Offa community in their efforts to revitalize their farming industry,” said Alhaji Muyideen Okunlola Kayode the founder of MOK Foundation “Our goal is to empower local farmers and contribute to the region’s economic development.”
The Offa community expressed their gratitude for the foundation’s support, acknowledging the significant impact this donation will have on their farming activities and the local economy.
You will recall that sometime in February this year, the community partnered Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) on the same project.
