200 students will benefit— Saheed Lawal, executive director MOK foundation

The Foundation For Community Development, known as the MOK Foundation, has officially launched its 2025 WAEC Scholarship program aimed at supporting public school students across all three senatorial districts of Kwara State: Kwara South, Kwara North, and Kwara Central.

In a press statement issued by the executive director of the foundation, Mr. Saheed Temitope Lawal, it was emphasized that this year’s WAEC scholarship initiative marks a significant expansion compared to previous years. This year, the foundation will provide assistance to 200 underprivileged students from the three districts, collectively benefiting from this important educational opportunity.

Mr. Temitope made this announcement during the inaugural meeting of the scholarship scheme with school principals in Offa Local Government Area. He highlighted the foundation’s commitment to addressing educational disparities and ensuring that deserving students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically. The scholarship is designed to empower students who lack the financial means to pay for WAEC examination fees, thereby promoting equal opportunities in education within the state.

The MOK Foundation encourages eligible students and their families to take advantage of this initiative, which aims to make a positive impact on the future of education in Kwara State.

Mr. Oyawoye, the secretary of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPS) in Offa Local Government, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the ongoing efforts of the MOK Foundation. He commended the foundation’s relentless commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to receive a quality education. During his remarks, Oyawoye offered a prayer for the founder of the MOK Foundation, as well as for the dedicated team members and all individuals involved in this noble initiative.
