In a statement made available to the public by the Finance head of the local govt election committee put in place by Kwara APC, Abdulganiyu Kure declared that prospective aspirants will pay 1million for the purchase of form for the post of chairman, however, he reiterated that women and person living with disabilities will have the forms for free, the full statement read:
This is to bring to the notice of all intending aspirants and stakeholders that the sales of forms for the forthcoming Local Government Council Election will commence on the 21st Day of June, 2024.
According, aspirants are therefore invited to note the following:
1. Aspirants are to purchase form by paying the prescribed fee into the party’s Fidelity account with the following details:Account name:
*Name: APC Kwara Chapter*
*Account number: 4011458044*
2. The teller obtained from the payment should be brought to the Chairman Finance Sub-committee at the party secretariat for documentation.
3. Once the payment is verified, receipt would be issued along with the application form.
4. Aspirants are to note that sales of form closes on the 25th Day of June, 2024 at 12 o’clock in the noon.
5. Chairmanship form goes for 1m while Councilorship form goes for 250k
6. Please note that both Chairmanship and Councilorship forms are *FREE* for women and physically challenged aspirants.
