The Kwara North Integrity Youth Forum (KNIYF) wishes to congratulate the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) on the success of its annual general convention. As Kwara Northerners, we will continue to regard Ilorin Emirate as brothers and sustain our shared commitment to the development of Ilorin Emirate, which hosts our state capital.

In consonance with the acknowledgement of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s strides, we wish to also state our recognition of the giant strides of the Governor in Kwara North, both in public and private capacity, including the monumental over 200km Bode-Saadu to Kaiama road project worth about 250 billion naira—the largest single road project in the state’s history—facilitated by Gov. AbdulRazaq and his personal donations to Duku irrigation, Lade among others.

It is upon this background that KNIYF wish to state categorically, that a so-called ‘KNDC’ group whose voice has never been registered in the development trajectory of our senatorial district is a faceless group with no traceable identity, and as such, a statement by a group with pseudo-identity cannot be taken as the position of the good and appreciative people of Kwara North. The good people of Kwara North are in tune with the developmental strides of Gov. AbdulRazaq and won’t make such uninformed position against him.

It is ironic that this faceless group, with no track record of facilitating meaningful projects or any intervention whatsoever for our senatorial district, has suddenly surfaced to criticize a government that has consistently demonstrated genuine and practical commitment to addressing the challenges faced by Kwara Northerners in the past decades.

The individuals operating under the banner of the Kwara North Development Commission are unknown to us. They appear to be fifth columnists, driven by envy of the governor’s numerous achievements in Kwara North and across the state.

Such faceless groups should be ignored entirely, as they hold no relevance in the broader scheme of progress and development in Kwara North.

We want to respectfully admonish the IEDPU to shun politically orchestrated attacks by a faceless group whose supposed position are being circulated only by members of the opposition parties in the State.

On this note, we wish to extend our hands of fellowship to IEDPU, to rally its members for the sustenance of the harmonious coexistence among the three Senatorial Districts through promotion of equity and fairness by supporting Kwara North aspiration to govern the state.

The faceless group that is being run by cowards and chaos merchants who want to truncate the peaceful atmosphere in the state is dead on arrival, as their evil machination against our peaceful coexistence will never manifest.
