In his effort to improve the lives of his constituents. Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi, Honourable Member representing Ojomu Balogun Constituency partners with First City Monument Bank to empower constituents by providing smart POS machines with N10,000 each as start up capital for participants. The empowerment initiative was conceived by Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi as a way of encouraging self-reliance and creating employment opportunities for his constituents.

The first phase of the POS / Cash empowerment scheme was flagged off today, 25th April 2024, at The Adato Constituency office in Afelele area Offa. The participants were full of joy for being beneficiaries of such a life changing opportunity. In a show of appreciation, the beneficiaries of the empowerment initiative showered prayers and praises on Ogbeni Seun for his kind and humanitarian gesture.

Officials of FCMB Bank were also on the ground to train the beneficiaries on how to use the POS terminal and conduct a wide range of transactions. Each of the beneficiaries was appointed as FCMB authorised agent for financial services across their various designated locations within the constituency. The beneficiaries will also have access to regular training, micro/SME capacity development clinics, and other incentives such as single digit business growth loans.
