–Each ward gets one borehole

Manko through its charity platform HAM Foundation  sunk 65 Boreholes in Patigi LG, Edu LG 55, Moro LG 19 and 15 in Kaiama LG totalling 154 (One Hundred and Fifty Four)  before the close of 2025  leaving out Baruten LG as a result of the fall season.

The foundation in fulfillment of its promises commenced  the Baruten phase of its water intervention outreaches on Saturday 8th of February.

Baruten LG will benefit 22 boreholes across all the wards. This does bring to complement the target on ensuring all the wards of kwara North have at least 1 (One) borehole. Bringing the total to 176 (One Hundred and Seventy Six).

Mindfully, the water charity does not wear any colourations of religion, tribe or political affiliations. It’s just a platform to give back to society.

The foundation ensures the community Stakeholders decides the location of the boreholes after consultation across boards.

HAM Foundations intervention
is to,through private initiative and partnership support the tremendous efforts of the State government to ensure more people have access not just to water, but clean water with hygiene practices. While also educating communities on the importance of safe water consumption alongside sustainable culture of maintenance.

HAM Foundation by so doing seeks to reduce the prevalence of water-borne diseases, improve positive health outcomes, and enhance the overhaul quality of life for the residents.

The foundation’s approach demonstrate unusual and unrelenting commitment to support the state government drive to addressing the water needs of rural communities across the State.

The drilling is expected to be completed shortly before the fall season begins.

Stay tuned as the foundation project’s crew keeps providing updates.
