Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq sends hearty felicitations to top researcher and All Progressives Congress (APC) enthusiast, Dr. Mumeen ‘Bioye Yusuf, on his birth anniversary today, July 4, 2025.

Dr. ‘Bioye Yusuf is the National Cereals Research Institute Badeggi Lead Researcher and Head of Station in Bacita, Kwara State, and founder of Young Farmers’ Club, which has collaborated with various government agencies on food security.

Governor AbdulRazaq commends the academician for his hard work and contributions to the field of agricultural research and food security, which has taken him to different parts of the world.

The Governor also congratulates Dr ‘Bioye for his indexed contributions (along with breeders and other scientists) to the recent release of two new rice varieties, three new sesame varieties, and three castor varieties under the National Crop Varietal Catalogue of Nigeria.

Governor AbdulRazaq wishes Dr. ‘Bioye Yusuf many more years of accomplishments and good health.
