Ameliorators International Initiatives, in collaboration with the Saliu Mustapha Foundation, is delighted to announce a groundbreaking two-day Youth Parliamentary Workshop, scheduled to take place on May 31st and June 1st, 2024. This collaborative effort aims to empower student legislators from various campuses across Kwara State, under the theme “Youth Engagement in Politics: Promoting Civic Education and Democratic Values.”
As partners in this initiative, Ameliorators International Initiatives and the Saliu Mustapha Foundation are committed to fostering a new generation of informed and active citizens who will champion democratic principles and contribute meaningfully to societal development.

Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan, Director of Media and Publicity for Ameliorators International Initiatives, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “By bringing together our resources and expertise, we can create a more impactful and inclusive workshop that addresses the diverse needs of young leaders in Kwara State.”

The workshop will feature a dynamic agenda comprising interactive sessions, discussions, and practical exercises designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to engage meaningfully in political processes. Key topics to be explored include the importance of civic education, the role of youth in shaping democratic governance, effective advocacy strategies, and the significance of ethical leadership.
