1507 students at Federal University Oye-Ekiti(FUOYE) have received a total sum of N140 million from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
FOUYE Vice-chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina verified this in a letter of appreciation addressed to the NELFUND on 29th January,2029
In a letter released on behalf of FUOYE, the Vice-chancellor acknowledged the release of N140,252,500 by NELFUND, emphasizing that the fund reached 1507 beneficiaries in the institution. He further conveyed sincere appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for initiating the commendable program.
Fasina remarked that the release of these funds reflects the federal government’s deep appreciation for the pivotal role of education in Nigeria’s future. He also praised the process as both efficient and transparent.
He noted that NELFUND’s professionalism and dedication throughout the process were truly commendable, reflecting the high standards of the esteemed organization. On behalf of the entire FUOYE community, he extended heartfelt thanks to NELFUND and its team for their unwavering support.
